I feel for you, sister. But I wasn’t the one who had to be talked down from the ledge on my wedding day. In fact, maybe I should let hubby take this one. Hold on…
Hello, Runaway Bride. This is Vegeta, Prince of all Saiyans. It is true, I was extremely apprehensive about marrying the woman, but Kakarot spoke with me and was able to help me see that my concerns had more to do with me messing it all up than my compatibility with Bulma.
My advice to you would be to listen to your gut. If it is telling you this isn’t the right human for you, don’t be afraid to admit your mistake. Find a friend you can trust to talk through your concerns with and discover from which source your fears arise. (And if you ever mention to anyone that I referred to Kakarot as a friend, I will solve your wedding jitters by ending your pathetic…)
Bulma again. Sorry about him, but he has some good points. We both wish you luck on making this important decision. Remember to trust your gut!
Believe it or not, I understand how you feel. Being an exceptionally beautiful and ingenious woman may win me fame, but when it comes to forming meaningful friendships, it isn’t very helpful.
You wouldn’t know it to look at me, but I’ve always been different than everyone else, which made for a pretty lonely childhood. Most of my current friends I met on our mutual adventures, years ago.
The best advice I can offer is to seek out some adventures of your own and link up with those on a similar journey. It doesn’t have to be anything as big as saving the planet. Try a new exercise class, join a book club, or volunteer for a cause that means something to you. And always remember, the person beside you may be looking for a friend too.
Being a wealthy heiress, I don’t have much experience doing things on a budget. That said, I do have plenty of experience thinking outside the box, which is exactly what you have to do.
I suggest looking for new adventures in your own hometown. Sometimes Vegeta and I put on disguises and play tourist. Being a beautiful and famous heiress has its perks, but I was surprised how much it has kept me from some really neat adventures close to home.
Put on your tourist hat for the day, and get out there and explore. Look at your city with fresh eyes. You never know what exciting things you might discover.
